In A Forgettable Beautiful Holiday the presenter travels to Spain with a very special group. Twelve elderly people living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, accompanied by their caregivers and family members, set off on a week-long, sun-soaked holiday in Benidorm. Many of the families have not been on holiday together for decades, and thought they would never travel anywhere together again. Floating in the pool on a pink inflatable flamingo, cruising along the boulevard on mobility scooters, forming a joyful conga line to a local karaoke bar, and raising a glass to life together. With one simple motto: enjoy the moment.
Because not remembering tomorrow doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make the most of today.
